People like this make the rest of us look bad. So many things wrong with the way that he handled this situation from not trying to retreat (not saying he had to but it sounds like he could have) to thinking that the "stand your ground" law would protect him no matter what.

The media and some people just don't understand, the kind of defense someone uses is a choice and not evidence of guilt or innocence. The insane defense has been used countless times, funny, they are not all insane, it was just the defense they tried to use.

The same thing is true with stand your ground. One can use that defense if they choose, that doesn't mean they will be found innocent because they used it
