Default USPSA Single Stack

I am shooting a USPSA Single Stack match on the 13th. Should be fun. It's a 1911 only event. I ran 500 rounds over the weekend to blow the cobwebs out of my 1911.

Just got the layout for the stages. This is going to be interesting.

Well it went pretty well for my first big match. 120 shooters and I finished 91st overall. Not to shabby considering the vast majority were "B" shooters and above. Also in the count were 16 master and grand master shooters. I did pretty well on 6 of 8 stages. One stage had a Texas Star and that thing ate my lunch. That was by far my worst stage. Shooting from the car was my next worst. I wasted way too much time moving between targets. The trail run I ended up 66th overall. It was a 100 yard switch back run up hill that multiple paper and no shoots then ended with three poppers at 25 yards. Had a great time and learned a lot. Highly recommend trying a local USPSA event in your area.
