Default Revolver grips

I am interested in getting a revolver soon. I have seen the custom grips that allow for a nice comfy feel in the hand but I am really interested in the more unique items. Like the biometric grips. As I do not actually own a revolver my post goes out to current revolver owners. What kind of grip would you suggest and why. I would like to know so that I can make a better selection. I dont really want to rely on some advertisment because.... well.... its an Ad.. .ofcourse they want to make it look good so that they can make a sell.

+1 for the Hogue grips - they are on every pistol and revolver I own.
