Default Little bit of rust

What is the best way to remove small bits of rust?

Been browsing the web, seen some ideas, just wondering if anyone as practicle experience befor I do anything

Some WD-40 perhaps. An old time remedy if you can still find it is Naval Jelly. I think Lowe's still sells it. Just don't put it on your toast.

The rust is on the cylinder on a single six

Yeah ,,, Belly button Jelly works great Just not sure what is going to work and not take some of the finish with it ...... WD-40 might do the trick or maybe some gun oil .....

Break Free: CLP and a firm tooth brush. Hoppies 9 works good too. Kinda depends how deep it is as well.

I agree with KingFriday...

I personally prefer Gunzilla, but any kind of CLP and some firm brushing should get it gone.

You may have to let the CLP soak into the rust for a couple of hours.
