Looking at another Sig, so if anyone knows an online seller, please let me know.

Also, wondering if the Sig 1911 TacOps comes in a 4" carry version.....

Believe it or not most sig 1911s are decently priced on gunbroker. I think the tacops is only 5". The scorpion may come in a smaller version. I'd love to have a two tone ultra carry

The Scorpion does come in a Carry version, and it's a sweet pistol, but I don't like the color scheme for CC. Which I know is dumb because it's concealed...but still. I like the black guns better, basically. I like the tacops and the extreme, but don't think either comes in 4".

SWSS...I don't know anything about the Smith 1911's, so I'm no help there.

Ultra carry comes in all black if you want a 3.3" barrel

I love mine, but it is the only one I have ever had...kinda like my wife.

Not sure about that. Ultras are a more compact 1911, but I don't see how you could physically make it a more narrow design and still function correctly.

Found a Scorpion Carry locally for $200 more than Gunbroker. Add the $20 transfer fee and I'm still saving money.

I dunno...now I'm thinking maybe a should give a P-series carry-size .45 a try.....I just need an easily concealable but not too dinky .45. I'm super 1911 biased, though. Love them.

I'll eventually end up with a sig ultra carry but I think I'm going to get a p238 for a pocket pistol. It somewhat has the ergonomics of a 1911 but easily concealable. Especially down here where we get about 10 months a year of shorts and t-shirt weather

I suppose that's one advantage of living in Alaska...lol. I can carry easily for the majority of the year. We get some nice, warm summer days, shorts-weather type, but not many. Hell, last summer totally sucked. I don't think we had a day over 70 the entire summer, which is not normal at all. In the winter I could carry a full-size 1911 if I wanted and probably not have too much problem concealing it. There's also the bonus that we're open-carry, so on the off chance someone does see it they can't really do anything about it. I love hiking on the trails around town in the summer carrying a gun. Freaks the hippie tourists out.
