I don't believe that this is always the case. Sometimes yes, but every one of the latest mass shooting have occurred in "gun free" zones for a reason.

I really hope this goes somewhere. I think even if no teacher in a school carries a firearm that it will deter criminals because of the possibility that they may faced armed opposition.

I bought the wife a new LC9 for Christmas and a pelican case for storage/transport. What is the consensus on storing the pistol in the case for long term. Granted, long term at the moment will be at most two/three week but what about if I wanted to store it for a year+?

I am going to check out this safe this weekend at the local TS. After re-evaluating my needs a safe is at the top of the list. With what will be in the safe I feel that this one will be adequate for the time being. Anybody have any feedback on this one?

The same place that I bought mine for 14.95 yesterday was out of stock today and back-orders were $25. I think this is simply a case of supply and demand vs what cheaper than dirt was doing.
