    Am I legally allowed to transport my 9mm pistol in my vehicle (ammo and gun in separate compartments) through DC? I have my CC permit from PA and we're traveling to North Carolina thru DC and I'm trying to figure if this is legal, the law is unclear from what I've read.

    What would be a good deer hunting rifle?

    Where I live and hunt, the common rounds for deer hunting are a 30-30 and the 30-06. I own a 30-30 and it is a great beginner rifle. Really though it depends on what you are able to hunt. Are you going to be taking shots at 50 yards or 250 yards? Makes a big difference...
