.357 SIG ::love it or hate it?

As far as .45 goes. I would tell a novice that if someone mentions a .45 round in the context of semi auto pistols that 99% of the time they're referring to ACP.

Thank you to Fuzz for some insight into shooting .357sig. I'm still unsure but im starting to sway back the ppq in 9. However, i do have a range nearby that rents handguns, they have a fairly good selection, i'm gonna try and get there this week and see if they have anything in 357 that i can...

Semi Auto 9 is a good choice. There are a lot of fantastic options these days. Like Fuzz said you can't go wrong with a Glock 17 or 19 depending on the size you want, the M&P and XDm are serious competitors and good alternatives. My vote is for the dark horse Walther PPQ. Not a lot of marketing...

Precisely. Is this a nightstand gun? CCW? Whatever role the firearm will fill is the most important factor. This will determine size, caliber, weight, etc. If you can provide that info and price range if possible I know you'll get a lot of good suggestions.

    Kershaw Camp 10

Anyone know what the release date for Camp 10 is? They're taking preorders everywhere but I can't find an expected release date. I'm curious to see how this will perform, especially because of its price point.

You should cruise the fixed blades on bladehq. ESEE makes awesome knives, I highly recommend them. There are a lot of really nice knives out there, not sure if you said what your price range is, that would help narrow it down greatly. ESEE, Ontario, Kbar, Brous, TOPS, Meyerco to name a few are...

.357 SIG ::love it or hate it?

I'm in the market for a new poly striker and have had my heart set on a Walther PPQ in 9mm. However, I just read an article in the new Handgunner mag about the .357 SIG round and the Glock 32 in particular. It got me thinking about maybe going that route whether its the 32 or something else...
