Does anyone have an idea on how to correct a recurve that's twisting?

No visible cracks, but the top notch is being twisted to the point of dislodging the bowstring. It's my dad's old bow, and I shoot it great, and don't really want to buy another.

it sounds like it got wet. i personally wouldnt try to correct it because of the fatigue factor involved.

Eh, never been near water, but Nacogdoches and Houston do have a high humidity rate. Good call on the fatigue though, guess I should make it a wall-hanger.

Find a good (hopefully local) archery guy. Maybe a sporting goods shop could recommend someone if they don't have someone. Let him take a look at it and give you his opinion. Post some pictures of it to an archery forum to get feedback. Hopefully it's salvageable.
