Browning Hi-Power........

While not as popular since all the other hi-cap 9mm's have been introduced it still remains for me the best handling full size semi auto handgun made.

If they made it in .45 ACP it would be the perfect semi auto handgun. My example is a 1964 T-Series with Henie Lo-Pro sights, a C&S safety and Hogue Coco Bolo grips.

Browning makes some very nice stuff. They have a good reputation.

I've got a Belgium Browning .22lr that is a work of art.

There is a lot to be said for a gun that feels nice and becomes an extension of your hand vs something with a couple of extra rounds that is just ok.

The Hi power is a Browning design after the 1911 came on the scene. John Moses designed the hi power and Fabrique Nationale Built the platform. Some say Browning designed the hi power as an improved 1911. I personally have never shot the original hi power. But after many years in service to me the 1911 is to pistols what the Garand is to rifles and the ma deuce is to MGs.
