Walked into my local Pawn Shop this afternoon. Low and behold there on the shelf was a Springfield XD40 subcompact. Price was $439 which I thought was pretty good. But it never hurts to ask if they can do better for cash. Which they did. Knocked another $20 off of it. So for $419 I walked out with a new CCW gun. In a caliber I don't have yet but have been looking for. Woohooo!

I shoot it better that the .40 5.25 I have. I like the sights better and with the glasses I wear, I can sight faster

Seller said there were only a couple rounds through it. Not a scratch on it. Came complete with all paperwork, case and accessories.
