You didn't like it? Noticed from friends at the range lots of jams. Turned me right off!

This is going to be my next shotgun purchase, from m what I've researched (its been pretty extensive), jams really only happen if you short stroke the pump. If you rack it all the way back and all the way forward its perfectly fine

That was the primary cause, it was cool but felt cheap even at the $900 I paid for it......hell of an attention getter at the range though.

Yeah I'm looking to get it and train with it for a tactical/home defense shotgun. I believe that short of a design has some huge pluses in home defense situations

Current shotgun, CZ 712 semi -auto. In my defense, I had no idea the mag extension would be that long when I ordered it that way...but it works very well. Stock is the CZ Adjustable Length Stock, very cool. Of course, with a 9 round mag and "collapsible" stock it's definitely on Congress's radar as a "bad gun".

Since we removed magazine restrictions for hunting here in AZ, it hunts very well. :)

I love shotguns! I have a couple 870s for different purposes and one is going to be set up for tactical, home defense setting. The other will stay relatively stock, as it has for years, for hunting.

yeah you're right, because i've used red and blue slugs before from winchester and federal and i have a box of 00 buck with the mossberg and those shells are a dark red.

Yellow is 20 ga. Even Remington 20 guage is yellow. This is industry standard for safety reasons.

^^^ Nice looking 870. That magpul furniture looks nice on there

Thanks.......in the process of converting the wingmaster into tactical instead of buying another 870. (wife says I have enough shotguns already, but what does she know!)

Still need a mag extension, but kinda limited myself to a 2 round extension because I bought the 18" barrel to replace the 30" that was on there. Also need to order the SGA receiver sling mount, and a forward sling mount. XS Big Dot sight might be on the list too.

lol I figured as much :) I contemplated bastardizing it too for a week or so, but as long as I keep the original parts, I guess it's still the same 870.

I also have a couple of others I will add later. This is an Ithaca 37 - 12GA. Not a good pic but it is engraved.
