GOT it. If you're jumping back on the highway, ya' gotta make sure it stays down, too.
You're from TX, and I'm from NC, so I won't insult your palate with local BBQ. It's "ok"... if you're hundreds - or SEVERAL hundreds - of miles from the REAL stuff, but I've got a place, where you will enjoy the food, and NEVER forget the location!
Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Illinois, and Indiana are in the rear view mirror, 1300 miles down since Monday night. Since this is the rides thread, I am driving a 2015 F350 flatbed dually powerstroke with 4wd, vinyl seats, manual locks, roll your own windows, manual hubs, and no cruise control. No cruise control, how is that even possible?
Nice! I have a fondness for Mopars. I've owned three Rams and a Jeep. Still have my first '94 Ram and a 2005. The '97 SST I had I sold to my father. So it's still in the family. My wife drives a Jeep Commander.
I want to get a "not too old" Dodge Ram 2500 Mega cab 4x4 diesel. I want to get a 5th wheel too. But when we're not towing it will still make a great travel vehicle. And it being a Mega Cab, folks can ride in the back comfortably too.
My problem right now is finding time to get away. Three weeks ago we lost my wife's mother who had been living with us for 7.5 years. We've had either pets or people living with us our entire married life. We are now empty nesters. But now my business is too busy for me to go anywhere. We are trying to block out some time but the phone won't stop ringing. Gotta take care of business while it's coming in.
