Do you an idea of how much magnification you want and what you're looking to spend?

Look at Millett. You get a lot for your money with them. I put one of these on my FNAR. Determine what range you want to reach out to or what your weapon is capable of. You don't need more scope than your AR is capable of reaching. The saying goes "spend as much or more on your glass than you did the gun". I don't abide by that rule. For $300 the Millett is a fine scope that gets rave reviews.

In that price range, I have had very good luck with Nikon ProStaff. I have had one on my guide gun for years.

I won't put an expensive optic on a gun I may use as a club, unless my uncle is paying for it,then it would be an acog. JMO
