Got a 1911R1 last Christmas and been to busy with work/travel to take it out and shoot it. :angry94:

Haven't seen it mentioned on here so I thought I'd start a thread/discussion.

I picked it up at Bass Pro Shops on sale with a Remington discount it was less than $700.

bought at Cabela's, got 10% off and $100 MIR, bringing it under $600. i think i did good.

I still like my Springfield, but a 1911 is still a 1911 . . . a lot of fun to go out and shoot.
